Our students had a fun surprise visitor at school today- Ellie the Elephant stopped by to say hello! Ellie is a life-size, charismatic, empathy-building animatronic (walking and talking!) elephant. Ellie came to our school today to chat with our elementary students about empathy and how they can help animals suffering in captivity at places like circuses and marine parks. Ellie speaks to students all across the country and she has already spoken to more than 25,000 students in the past year about how to be kinder to all. After the presentation, Ellie took pictures with our students and passed out fun coloring books and stickers. Thank you for visiting us, Ellie!
