Thank you to the Pacific Life Foundation and Kaboom! for making our new Phoenix Academy playground a reality. Not only did all of our volunteers build a playground today but they mixed pallets upon pallets of concrete, moved 130 cubic yards of mulch, built 4 picnic tables, 4 benches, 2 storage cubes, 4 trash and recycling containers, a paver pathway, 2 connect fours, 4 corn hole boards, and landscaped. This is unbelievable considering the less than 6 hour time frame. In addition to the financial contributions, the 150 volunteers from Pacific Life Foundation and Phoenix Academy made this all possible. It is because of you wonderful people that our students will come to school Tuesday with a new playground system to enjoy!
