Today was the 100th day of school at Phoenix Academy. During calendar time these students have added a penny per day to their coin display. During this time they have learned about the days of the week, the months of the year, identifying numbers, and learned how to count pennies, nickels, and dimes. Today they counted dimes and pennies making them add up to one dollar. They were so excited when Mrs. Hutchson gave them a real dollar to celebrate the 100th day of school, and she even let them keep it! What a great way to celebrate this special day.
This is a nice way to do the “100th” day project!
What a neat idea!!
