The 2019 Annual Phoenix Academy Scholarship Luncheon was a great success!
We were delighted to have Dean Bragonier as our featured speaker this year. Dean is the Founder and Executive Dyslexic of NoticeAblity Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping students with dyslexia identify their unique gifts and build self-esteem. Our middle school students participated in the NoticeAbility curriculum and
have found this program to be very inspiring.
We honored James Freeman with the Mactier/Clark Literacy Educator Award and Senator Patty Pansing Brooks with the Holland Literacy Advocate Award.
